WELCOME MESSAGE

On behalf of the organizing committee we hope to have the pleasure of having you attend the first national conference on the adoption and integration of real time patient related outcomes into clinical practice.

The scope of this meeting will include an environmental scan of the incredible amount of activity across Canada by national organizations including the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC), Canada Health Infoway, Canada Institute of Health Information and the National Cancer Institute of Canada (NCIC).

The progress in Canada is amazing but the coordination of activities and sharing lessons learned with each other is one of the main objectives of this meeting.

We also have invited international guest speakers to  discuss  progress in Europe and the United States.

The organizing committee is excited about the prospects of this conference helping to change the landscape  of PROs in Canada and believe it will inspire collaboration across the country.

PROs included as part of everyday care also provides us with endless research possibilities.

We would be delighted to have you come and welcome your participation.

The participants will have the option of accessing a ski package to take advantage of the wonderful outdoor activities that Banff and Lake Louise provides at this time of year.

Sincerely,
